The hotel ia very well located, 5 minutes walking to the monorail, a lot of bus stations nearby, Kokusai street at 3 minutes walking, the staff is amazing, everything so clena and the tea time is a great plus. I would come back to this hotel anytime.

Due to a business trip, our client recommended Hotel Collective for our accommodation. The location is indeed very convenient, right on International Street, one of the tourist attractions. Additionally, there is a supermarket within a 15-minute walking distance, which adds to the convenience.Since we didn't utilize breakfast, we can't provide a review on that aspect. However, the rooms were very clean and well-equipped. What I particularly liked was that the gym and sauna facilities were available until 12:00, which is very convenient for business travelers who might not have the time earlier in the day.

The first day i stayed, my 2years old kid was so sick in high fever, so needed to go to Dr :( reception took care of all thing so well and quickly as they called Dr’s office and took a cap for us instead of is because we could not speak in Japanese. so we could get a treatment in a hospital properly, many thanks to all the staffs who cared us, and hope to meet them and stay soon again :)

The rooms are huge the bathroom is amazing, you have modern coin washing machines and dryer, a towel service at the beach and if you don’t need the room cleaning you will receive 1500¥ per night not taking the service. You can use this money for cocktails or parking (1500¥ per day). But don’t worry about fresh towels and amenities, you can order them even if you don’t want your room to be cleaned. All the restaurants are good and you have different type of food. I only took cocktails at my stay and they weren’t cheap neither expensive. Like 1600¥ ~ 10-12$. There was a little bit much ice inside but the taste was perfect. It was all like you would expect from a hotel bar. The room was very clean the beds are hard but I like it hard. The air condition only works when you’re at the room so be aware that your room will heat up when nobody is in it (they have a motion sensor) and it was in April outside temperature was 26°C so inside it got the same. But cooking down was quick like 5 minutes and you had a cool room again when coming back from the beach

In naha is niet veel te doen tenzij je wilt winkelen. Als we ons beter voorbereid hadden zouden we nu een van de prachtige eilanden in de omgeving van okinawa bezoeken. Na ruim 3 weken reizen in japan hadden we okinawa uitgekozen om te relaxen. En dan is naha niet de juiste plek.

Schitterende mooie natuur. De stad zelf is niet bijzonder. De rest van het eiland, Okinawa en de kleine eilandjes zijn wel bijzonder mooi.

Nice, but busy.
Nice, but busy. Unfortunately tourists stand on the coral which is still very nice to see but already somewhat damaged. I would have liked to visit more pristine parts of the Islands beaches. Also the fact that the beach facilities practically close at 17.00 PM because all the daytrippers from Okinawa have to go back. This is a shame for the people who stay overnight because it is nice period in the day to be at the beach and to snorkel some more. Considering the fact that in our eyes Japanese people are really bad swimmers we can understand that swimming is only done in designated areas with life gards. Dutch people are generally good swimmers who would like to be able to swim in other parts of the beaches.

Okinawa is een uniek stuk Japan, en Naha is de perfecte toegangspoort daartoe. Dit was m'n tweede verblijf, nu onder meer aardewerk-district Tsuboya, de ondergrondse commandobunker van het Japanse leger ten tijde van WO II (waar vooral de gruwelijke gevolgen voor de lokale bevolking duidelijk worden) en het Manko Waterbird and Wetland Center bezocht. Tijdens de eerdere reis al het prachtige kasteel bezocht en diverse uitstapjes buiten de stad gemaakt naar onder meer het indrukwekkende Churaumi Aquarium en naar Okinawa World. Daarnaast is Naha echt een culinair Walhalla, met uiteraard een hoofdrol voor de unieke lokale keuken.

Itoman is een normale stad, geen aantrekkelijke...
Itoman is een normale stad, geen aantrekkelijke bijzonderheden. Wel een praktische uitvalsbasis voor uitstapjes, bijv. naar de zuidpunt van Okinawa, Glass Factory, Naval Underground HQ, Royal Gardens. Ook zijn er een paar mooie stranden dichtbij.

Wanneer je aankomt in Naha, kan er misschien wat tegenslag...
Wanneer je aankomt in Naha, kan er misschien wat tegenslag zijn, omdat het een redelijk drukke en bebouwde stad is, maar eenmaal je voorbij Naha bent (Chatan, Okinawa City, meer naar het Zuiden), vind je hele mooie stranden en buurten!

Naha is de hoofdstad van Okinawa. Prachtig eiland. Naha is druk en enorm functioneel ingericht. Het eiland verder is beeldschoon met een tragische geschiedenis. Grote aanwezigheid van USA militairen. Groot deel van het eiland is afgesloten en in het bezit van de usa. Er zijn prachtige stranden, kliffen en natuur te bezoeken. De geschiedenis van Okinawa is bijzonder en de verwoesting van de hevige gevechten zijn nog terug te vinden. Mooi eiland om zon, strand en cultuur te beleven.

This guesthouse is just a wonder. Located just 10 minutes from the Aka harbor, the closes beach is just 2 minutes away. The staff is super friendly and speaks English. The Inn offers bikes for rental and snoorkling equipment, which is of great quality. The food the offer is also great!

We booked a non ocean view room wich was cheap, large and comfortable. The room was nice, renovated and clean. Even the hotel is old, because of the unnumerable georgous plant, look so fine. Buffet dining a little expencive, but planty, fresh and so delicious. If you don’t want to spend much money, there are convinience stores and good restaurants for few minutes walking from the hotel. SPA, water sports, sun beds - all chargeable, but without them we also had so much fun there. We went to Yo island, wich is belonging to the hotel. You can choose few kind of trip for different charges. We went to snorkeling ECO tour, wich was great. The island is pretty and they fed the fishez, so we saw alot of colorful beautiful fish inside the water. Sunset from the beach is wonderful… and more so many things, all lovely.

The view is beautiful, looking out to the ocean, you can also see planes landing as it overlooks Naha airport. With the outdoor private hot spring, it certainly did take away my tiredness of travelling. Breakfast is next level, it is one of the most enjoyable meals I’ve ever had in my life. Staff is amazing, polite and helpful, always with a smile on their faces. Parking is another thing that i appreciate, lots of free parking spaces right next to the hotel. Huge room, huge beds, amazing bathroom and bathtub for two, desk where you could work remotely if you want, close to Rycom mall if you need to shop, they have a coin laundry room downstairs, water cooler in the hallway. You can also order food in the room. All in all, fantastic facilities.
